Nanaimo Silly Boat Regatta, July 20, 2008
Nanaimo's annual Silly Boat Regatta raised over $80,000 for Nanaimo's Child Development Centre. Its success in 2008 will probably catapault it from a "one-day-only event to a weekend spectacular within a year or two.
